Check Out StockIQ's New Feature - Expedited Lead Time Wizard

Raise your hand if you’ve ever been personally victimized by agonizingly slow sea freight lead times.

Raise your hand if you’ve ever been personally victimized by astronomical shipping costs due to having to air freight additional inventory to combat those long lead times.

This is a common problem for distributors, but it never gets any easier.

Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a magical wizard that would wave his magic wand and magically fill these gaps in your inventory while saving you as much as possible from paying excess air freight costs?

One of my favorite things about what we do at StockIQ Technologies is giving wizards their magical powers. In this case, we just wrapped up a new feature we’re calling the Expedited Lead Time Wizard.

When you give this wizard an expedited lead time, he can tell you how much to put on the airplane and how much to put on the boat, so that you prevent a stock out or a shortage, while also saving as much money as possible on the freight by minimizing what goes on the airplane.

So while we always do our best with forecasting and safety stock planning, until we can find a magical wizard that can wave his wand and ALWAYS tell you exactly what your demand will be, sometimes the Expedite Wizard will have to be called upon to do his thing for you.
