New Price of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 Customization Suite Announced

There is a lot of buzz about the new Perpetual Licensing pricing changes coming with Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013.  Microsoft has made it clear that the new pricing will not be official until the product is released. But the anticipated pricing has been out there for several months now.  I wrote a post about it in August at: Microsoft Dynamics GP Price Rising Oct 2012 – How To Be “Grandfathered In” At Lower Cost and again in September at 7 Ways Existing Customers Can Save Money Before New Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 Pricing Begins and published the new Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 pricing on my website.

Even though they said this pricing was not official until the actual release (scheduled for December 1, 2012) I pretty much figured it was written in stone and would not be changed. Turns out it was written in wet cement – because it has changed!

Microsoft just announced on the Dynamics Community site that they will LOWER the planned price for the Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 Customization Suite from $10,000 to $6,000. And they did it based on popular demand (or popular outcry more likely). It is nice to know our voices are heard.

The Dynamics GP 2013 Customization Suite includes Integration Manager, eConnect, Web Services, Visual Studio and Dexterity.  If you want to do your OWN integration and customization work in Microsoft Dynamics GP, you could need to buy this suite of tool. If your Dynamics GP partner does it for you, you do not need to buy them. Here at CAL Business Solutions we are Microsoft Dynamics GP Integration experts and have our own in house Dynamics GP development team – so we use these tools often on behalf of our clients.
