Dynamics 365 Installation – Part 7 – Setting Primary database server as Failover and Synchronize DBs with other DB Server

As part of CRM environment setup, I will details here to make the primary database server as fail-over from availability groups.

After connecting with SQL management studio, expand folder “Availability Groups” as you can see in below screenshot and choose option “Failover…” by right clicking on it.

Click “Next” on this wizard

Now add each database (which you want to synchronize with other SQL DB Server) to availability group

Click Next

Then select database from available list of databases and click Next button

Click connect

Then again click “Connect” as shown in popup below

Click Next button

Click Finish button

Click Close button. Selected database is synchronized successfully with the given set of servers for databases. That’s it!
