Difference between "Inventory" and "Net Change" fields in 27 "Item" table

I brought black news for guys like me who still thinking that they can get quantity of Items on selected date this way:

Lets look at fields 68 "Inventory" and 70 "Net Change" in table 27 "Item". They both are flow fields based on "Item Ledger Entry" table with Sum method by field "Quantity":

But what we can see in Table Filter:

"Inventory" field:

"Net Change" field:

So, "Inventory" doesn't have a Posting Date filter at all. And it always shows Quantity on current moment whatever you set in "Date filter" flow filter.

If you you need quantity on some date - take it from "Net Change" field:

(and read the manuals from time to time)
