Will AI rock our world?

Absolutely.

Most common questions that I face is will AI replace developers?

Actually that would not be nice and will effect me also while my husband is a Dynamics developer too.

But I do not think so. 

Of course we can not predict the future and say that AI will cause a world like the film Terminator or Matrix but every change will cause a fear in people while people do not like changes as it is in our nature.

For example when we first change our phones, most people try to find out if new phone has the same functionality as the old one. 

This also applies in the ERP systems. Once changed, most of the users approach this change as a huge challenge.

Most common concerns that I face in the project from users are, if this new programme will effect their current positions.

That depends.

Actually ERP systems will make users to do things easier and convert them to operate more on decision making and time to time more labour is needed while the data to be supplied on the system may increase.

AI also has the same effect. AI will not decide for humans but to do the offering for humans.

As an example; a company produces tomato paste and ketchup. Tomato paste is profitable but ketchup production causes loss. So would you produce ketchup? The answer is "Yes". Because ketchup is produced with what is left from the tomato while producing the tomato paste. To scrap tomato left from tomato paste is more costly. This is a decision that a human can do according to the reports from the ERP systems according to their experiences.

AI will help us humans for decision making and will replace some jobs but doesn't every improvement do?

If there is no internet , where would we find the codes that we copy paste

Does internet causes humans to loose their jobs?

No!

That just convert the working procedures and change the perspective. Now the world become more global for companies and business evolve.

Before calculators, people sum up by themselves. When there are PCs , we use PCs but not calculators so we learn how to use PCs instead of calculators.

So this is an evolution and each evolution is caused because of human needs.
