    Hi guys,

    Not reinventing the wheel here

This feature has been around for awhile, but I don't think it is as commonly used as it should. I was guilty of not using it myself, until recently Jon, a colleague of mine had it on his form and I thought I would make an effort to use it more. Thanks, Jon!

So that's what I will show you today - how to add a preview to your URL field and make your form slightly nicer with just a few clicks. (4!)

    How to?

It is completely OOTB. All you need to do is

Go to https://make.powerapps.com/ > choose the right environment from the drop down > click on Solutions > choose the right solution from the list > choose the contact entity > go to Forms > click on the Main form you want to add a preview to.

I will use the OOTB website field.

Click on Website > In the properties section on the right, the last section is component > click on + Component > select Website Preview from the list > click Done > Save > Publish. And that's it!

    Result

Now if you go to your form and refresh the page, you will see a nice picture and a preview of your website embedded inline. No need for an Iframe, or anything complex anymore.

There we go, 4 clicks. And even if that doesn't impress you much, remember that most people like and remember visual cues better than words. So if you are doing a demo for a prospect, who doesn't know much about CRM, the chances are they would like the picture on the website preview (which took you seconds to implement) much better than a fancy automation happening behind the scenes (which they might not understand because they can 't see).

    Good luck!
