Allow access to the vendor portal for an existing record.

Prerequisite: Dynamics 365 FO cloud, workflows, Azure setup for email invitations.

Create vendor

Select Vendor Collaboration PO option

Add vendor address and contact. Note the email is not for portal login.

Add vendor contact

Note the vendor contact vendor collaboration option is disabled

Add vendor contact email, address & other Info

Allow access. See the button under requests which helps track user access.

System prompt to allow access as confirmation

Provision user side form opens, provide justification and roles.

In the same contact form for tracking requests, go to the button “vendor user requests.”

To check the status, click on request ID

Track workflow and ask to approve

Approve vendor user request

Invitation in vendor email – accept

The vendor is asked to send code because the Gmail account

Enter the code

Accept the privacy permissions
