September 2018 Recap: New features, new friends
Hello Dynamics 365 Community Members!
September has been a big month for the Dynamics 365 Community! We’re pleased to share with you a couple of new features you will discover, along with our experience at Microsoft Ignite in Orlando!
Webinars and Gallery Pages Launched
One of the things we’re most excited about is two new additions to our “Learn” menu options: Community Gallery and Webinars. Afterall, to learn from others’ experience is one reason our members come to the Dynamics community, so we hope that not only will you enjoy the new visually appealing content, you’ll also help us build it when it comes to the Gallery.
The Gallery is your home to showcase and share unique application scenarios of Dynamics 365. Gallery posts can be success stories, integration projects or cool tips and tricks. We encourage users to submit photos, videos, or PowerPoint presentations, along with your story to help other developers, IT Professionals or Dynamics 365 users to build skills or understand new ways to use the software. | Learn How to Submit Gallery Content
Webinars, which we announced earlier this month, offer recordings of informative topics presented by Microsoft MVPs and Dynamics 365 Power Users. Upcoming Webinars will be promoted on our Events and Webinars pages if you’d like to participate in real-time. You can click the “Subscribe” button to be notified when Upcoming Webinars are added or new recordings are available for playback. | Learn More
Community Welcomes Mixed Reality Applications
At Ignite Orlando, customers were introduced to new applications that integrate Mixed Reality with Dynamics 365. The first two apps in the Mixed Reality family, Layout and Remote Assist, were added to our line-up of products and application forums, blogs and support. New applications have been added to the product line-up with Dynamics 365 for Mixed Reality. You will find new sections for Layout and Remote Assist, and questions about these new applications will be fielded by the product teams.
New Filtering and Sorting Options
Users can now select multiple categories when posting a question in the forums, and you may see additional sub-categories added in select groups to allow you to better tailor the audience you’re targeting for responses, or to better refine your search results. | Learn more
Ignite
Finally, our team from the Business Applications Communities had a fantastic time at Microsoft Ignite in Orlando, Florida. We met existing community members and were happy to showcase the value of Microsoft communities to new customers. Here are just a few highlights from the event.
