New Certifications for Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement
Microsoft have announced new certifications and exams for Dynamics 365 CE and F&O.
Roles
There are new role based certifications:
- Dynamics 365 for Sales Functional Consultant
- Dynamics 365 for Customer Service Functional Consultant
- Dynamics 365 for Field Service Functional Consultant
- Dynamics 365 for Marketing Functional Consultant
The role based certifications require two exams.
Exams
There is a new Dynamics 365 Fundamentals exam, MB-900, coming out at the end of March which I think will be positioned similarly to the AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals i.e., an overview of the products and some understanding of their use and security. This is an optional exam and not required for the role based certifications.
There is a new pre-requisite exam for these role based certifications , MB-200 Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Core, and which looks at first glance to be a combination of Customisation and Online Deployment. This exam is in beta.
There is a new Dynamics 365 for Sales exam, MB-210. This looks very much at the functional elements of sales and social selling. This exam is in beta.
There is a new Dynamics 365 for Customer Service exam, MB-230. This looks very much at the functional elements of customer service and voice of the customer. Unlike the current Customer Service exam, there is nothing on Field Service or Unified Service Desk. This exam is in beta.
