Converting a Dynamic Marketing List to a Static List

Recently a client wanted to selectively remove certain Contacts from a Dynamic Marketing List. After discovering that you can’t do this they pinged us with the question – What can we do?

The answer is simply convert the dynamic list to a static list and then edit the static list. Sounds simple, right? There is a button that appears on the dynamic marketing list tool bar that makes it a one click operation. Well almost.

However, there is one more step you have to take to be able to manage the members on the list. It gets created in a ‘locked’ state. So change it to unlocked and you will be good to go.
