How-To: Upgrade from NAV 2018 to Dynamics 365 BC

Welcome to the new era of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central first Edition on Premises.

First of all, the Build No. of Dynamics 365 BC before any cumulative update as i recognize is: 13.0.24623.0 for W1 Version.

When upgrade you have to determine from which version you want to upgrade. By going to the “Upgrade Toolkit” in Dynamics 365 Installation Folder, you will view the following:

• Upgrade from NAV 2018 to 365 BC, Use Upgrade 1101300
• Upgrade from NAV 2017 to 365 BC, Use Upgrade 10001300
• Upgrade from NAV 2016 to 365 BC, Use Upgrade 9001300
• Upgrade from NAV 2015 to 365 BC, Use Upgrade 8001300

For the selected database to be upgraded, you have to know the version of this database to select the appropriate file, therefore the following Picture will apply when upgrading the database.

Then you can enjoy the 365 Business Central.
