The Microsoft Demos portal (https://demos.microsoft.com) is a great tool for you to quickly provision an Office 365 tenant, which you can then use to sign up for a trial version of Dynamics 365 Business Central and use it for your customer demos.
However, not all countries supported by the Business Central are represented in the selection list, also you get to choose between the regions rather than specific countries:
In such cases, for example, a tenant created in the "Europe, Middle East, Africa" region is usually created in the Netherlands, and you can only get the Dutch version of Business Central for it. This is great for the Dutch people (and all other regions where the country matches your expectations), but not so much for all of you who wishes to get a different localization of the Business Central.
As an administrator user in your organization, you can create new Azure Active Directories (Azure AD tenants) and specify the country that you want explicitly. You do it using the Microsoft Azure portal (https://portal.azure.com/).
If you don’t have an Azure account yet, or you prefer to create a separate account for your demos, you can subscribe for it free of charge here: https://azure.microsoft.com/free/
And you are done!
You can create as many directories as you need and switch between them in the Microsoft Azure portal.
Once you have created a new Azure AD tenant in the country that you need, and added a user to that tenant, you can use that user account to sign up for a trial of Dynamics 365 Business Central from our marketing page, and we will provision the localization that corresponds to the country you selected when you created the Azure AD tenant.
And in a few seconds - you are ready to go with your country version of Dynamics 365 Business Central!
Tried it. Many times by now. But cannot get it to work. If I create a new directory, then when I try to log into the demos.microsoft.site, then I'm told I'm not a partner/MVP. I'm both, but of course this is not registered with an email I've just created. When I do use my regular (non-work) MVP account, then I do get online and can start D365 demos, but no options regarding Business Central demos.
Hi Erik, it was not the intent to use these AAD tenants with demos.microsoft.com. You should use the user, which you created to signup for Business Central directly from our marketing page dynamics.microsoft.com/.../overview . For demos.microsoft.com you should still use your own partner credentials, but you will only get a choice of specific countries, not all countries supported by BC.
