i need to create a new Opportuity entity to my company's CRM. There is already an Opportunity Entity but we need to create a new one for different products. is this possible? If it is not possible, can we create a new form which will only depict the different products?
Is the new opportunity for a different group of users?
In that case I would recommend to create a new form for the other products, and tie both opportunity forms to different security roles.
That way the two types of opportunities till can be aggregated in the same sales funnel.
Creating a new opportunity entity will require lots of customizations.
No, it's for the same set of users.
Can you advise of how to create the new entity with all customizations?

Can you explain the product differences that make you feel you need a separate entity?
There is not a function defined to copy an entity, it is a massive effort to create a clone of the opportunities entity.
the difference is that the first prodict - syaign the m products - are accounts we use and the second - for which I need to create the new Opportunity Entity - is a common product as computers.
I know it's a massive effort to create a clone, but I beleive it's is my only solution. I'm trying to find a 'how-to'. Please feel free to suggest in any case.
My suggested solution would be to
- add an option set to the opportunity form, that the user can use to switch between the "m products" and "common products'.
- build business rules that show or hide fields based on the values of the new option set. With the business rules you can also make fields required or locked.
For creating a new entity, you need to navigate to the customizations section, select customize the system and press the new entity button.
Although the proposed is correct this does not suit our needs.
When I create a new opportunity entity, do I need to create all new Closed Opportunity, new opportunity Relationship entities?
