Hello everyone,
I’m experiencing an issue when trying to generate a Packing Slip in Dynamics 365 Sales for sales order 000936, item D0001 – MidRangeSpeaker, on Site 2 / Warehouse 21.
Here are the details:
Ordered quantity: 50
Physical inventory on Site 2: 200 units
Reserved for this order: 50 units
Available physical: 150 → enough for delivery
Line status: Open order
Fulfillment status: Unknown
When I try to generate the BL via Pick and pack → Post packing slip, I get the following error:
Quantity 0.00 cannot be picked for item D0001.
Inventory transactions with a quantity of 50.00 attached to reference Output order 000194 exist.
Insufficient inventory transactions with status On order, Reserved ordered, Reserved physical and Picked.
After checking, the Output order 000194 is already invoiced.
It seems that D365 is trying to use units already invoiced in Output order 000194, even though there is sufficient nettable stock available on the site.
My question:
What is the best way to generate a Packing Slip for this order using only the available nettable stock on Site 2 / Warehouse 21, without the system trying to use units attached to an already invoiced Output order?
Thank you in advance for your advice and guidance!
