Min/Max Replenishment Put Location Choosing Non-Fixed Location

Hi Team,

I am facing an issue in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Warehouse Management with Min/Max Replenishment Put location directives.

Setup:
  • Item has a Fixed Location assigned: AZ-12-10C
  • Another non-fixed location exists: AA-01-10A
  • Both locations have Location Profile = PICK SLOT
  • Reservation hierarchy includes Batch
  • FEFO date-controlled reservation is enabled
  • Mixed items = Yes
  • Mixed inventory batches = Yes
  • Mixed inventory statuses = Yes
  • Strategy = None
Location Directive Actions:
  1. Replenish – Put → Only fixed locations for product
  2. Replenish – Put (Non Fixed Locations) → Query includes Warehouse + PICK SLOT
Execution log:
  • Action Replenish – Put succeeded
  • Action Replenish – Put (Non Fixed Locations) succeed
Issue: Even though the Fixed Location action succeeds, the replenishment Put location selected is the non-fixed location (AA-01-10A) instead of the fixed location AZ-12-10C
Questions:
  1. Is this expected standard behavior for replenishment directives?
  1. Is there a standard way to make Non Fixed Locations act only as fallback when fixed location cannot be used?

Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks.
