Hi all,
We are working on setting up contracts in Business Central Subscription & Recurring billing.

How can one set the service end date on a contract line? Our scenario is that we have a yearly service commitment line from 1-1-2025 till 31-12-2025.
The customer would like to cancel the subscription on 1-06-2025. How can this be achieved?

Whenever we try to set the service end date on the contract line we get an error saying that the service end date can only be -1 day before the next renewal date.

We have also attempted ro create and post a credit memo as we need to refund the customer - this has reset the Next Billing Date but we cannot seem to put an end date on the contract line.

Any help is appreciated!

Subscription & Recurring Billing: Service End Date
Jainam M. Kothari, how can a contract line be manually adjusted to affect the cancellation date?

The scenario is that the customer has cancelled the service commitment in the middle of the period and we would like to issue a credit memo to refund the rest of the period. Is this possible?

Subscription & Recurring Billing: Service End Date
    Hello,

I Do Agree with Mansi Soni that Business Central enforces the rule that the service end date can only be set to one day before the next renewal date. To work around this, you can manually adjust the contract line to reflect the cancellation date.

Subscription & Recurring Billing: Service End Date
Hello, As per my knowledge, in Business Central Subscription & Recurring Billing, the Service End Date on a contract line can only be set one day before the next renewal date, which prevents early cancellations from being processed directly.
