Setup Automation for Production Floor Reporting

In our system, Production route operations have setup defined, but we do not register the setup times in the job card terminal. (we have not yet switched to the production floor execution interface, but will soon). Our operators start job registrations for the process step when initial setup of the job begins, and report the step finished when all processing is complete. This strategy is a problem when looking at production efficiency because all time is registered as process time, when some is actually setup time.

If we enabled job registrations for setup jobs, is there a configuration that will automatically start the operation step process job when the setup job is reported finished?

Hi Lisa,

This is a great question. It has been a long time since I looked at the module, but I can't remember a setting for auto starting a next job. I'm not 100% confident that there is no setting. At least, if not available, you can consider a customization.
