Making Sales Order Confirmation manditory

Hi

We have a batch job that confirms sales orders. However, sometimes users bypass it and release it to the warehouse. This is causing issues as credit checks are missed.

So how can we make Confirmation mandatory in the first place?

And also, if the user modifies the orders, how can we confirm them again using a batch job?

Thanks

There is no standard process to make the sales order confirmation mandatory; custom logic is required. I am sharing a thread that explains the logic to implement. After making the changes, ensure the sales order is picked up again by the batch job by enabling late selection on those batch jobs.
