Expense management AP and licensing

Hello 
 
after we did our license assessment, we then noticed a user with sys admin could not access the expense management app now we see they need a team member which wasn't an issue before? did this just start happening is this something new?? also how would we know if it does not show up on any reports etc... can someone please. let me know and how or where I would find this out to kbow a user now needs a  team member license? thanks

    This is an interesting question. A system administrator does not need a license to perform maintenance tasks on the environment. Access to the expense management app can be seen as a business function that is not part of system administration.

    Do you have a screenshot where the team members license is listed for a sys admin user? What role(s) are assigned to this user?

    Hi Andre I reached out to MS and they stated a team member license is needed regardless of a system admin which makes no sense.  I then asked how would we find this info as it does not show this is ppac or the license usage summary report they said to use license consumption but it does not show there as well I am waiting for MS to respond for more information but currentlythe user is getting a message that they do not have the correct role to access the expense mgt app? if you find out anything or find out where this can be found please let me know. Thank you

    Have you gotten more feedback from Microsoft Support already? One client is currently evaluating Expense management. I will deploy the solution and do a similar check with a system administrator soon.
