We have configured the reservation hierarchy as per the attached screen shot, where inventory is expected to be reserved at a higher level and only get location-specific blocking when warehouse work is released.
However, we are observing the following behavior:
During sales order reservation, the system is reserving inventory at the specific location level, instead of waiting until work creation/release.
Due to this, when attempting to move inventory using a Transfer Journal, the system detects the reservation at the location level and prevents posting, since the reserved inventory is not available for movement.
At the same time:
When performing the same movement using the RF (Warehouse Mobile Device) movement process, the system allows the movement, even though the inventory is reserved at the location.
could you please provide suggestion how to move the inventory through transfer journal when reservation already done?
