Check print button not appear in payment journal

Dear Members,

In Business Central payment journal we know check print button, void check button, preview check button. But in my case check print button in not shown for me in payment journal. Can you please address me with this issue as soon as possible.

Hi Raja,

It might be that the Print Check button was hidden through Personalization and that it needs to be unhidden (Show) through Personalization as well (screenshot below).

Hello Raja,

If Print Check is missing in the Payment Journal, it's almost always because:

The journal batch is not set to “Computer Check”.

The Bank Account is not configured for check printing.

When either of those is wrong, Business Central hides the Print Check button.

Fix:

Go to Payment Journal → Batch → Bank Payment Type = Computer Check

Go to Bank Account Card and make sure:

Bank Payment Type = Computer Check

Last Check No. is filled

Check Report ID is set (e.g., 10401)

Once these are set → Print Check appears.

It's there out of default without any custom configuration dependency.

Only reason I can think off is, if someone did the manual hide possibly.

Try navigating to personalize mode and then see if it's there and than drag it wherever you want.

This can be caused by two things: either the user personalized the page to hide the button, or the assigned profile has personalization applied. Opening Personalization mode will let you add the action button back.

This is not related to the Payment Method Code on the journal or anything on the bank account card.
