Do comments, notes, and attachments flow to transaction screens?

Hi:

Recently, I saw where a Customer Card's notes, attachments, and even comments did not flow to such transaction screens as the Sales Order.

Why not?

Thanks!

John

    Hello John,

Think of the Customer Card as a place where you store general, long-term information about a customer, while a Sales Order is just for that specific deal or transaction. So, things like notes, attachments, or comments don’t automatically carry forward because they may not always be relevant to every order. This way, each transaction stays clean and focused. If you really need that information on the Sales Order, you can always add it manually or extend the system to bring it through.

Hope this answer will help you!

    Regards,
    Mansi Soni
