Question about garbled Japanese characters on receipt printer

I’m having an issue with my receipt printer (Epson TM-m30III-H).

 

When printing receipts from Microsoft Store Commerce app, Japanese characters are replaced with “?”.

 

 

 

Here is my environment:

 

 

 

  • Printer: Epson TM-m30III-H

  • POS: Microsoft Store Commerce app

  • OS: Windows 11 Pro

  • PC: Dell XPS

  • Connection: Network (IP address assigned to the printer)

In the preview screen, Japanese text displays correctly, but when actually printing, Japanese characters become “?”.

 

The printer’s language is set to Japanese, and when printing from Notepad, Japanese prints correctly.

 

 

 

Is there any way to fix this issue when printing from Store Commerce app?

    It`s fixed.
     
    1. Set up OPOS, Epson Utility, Epson ADK
    2. Set up Hardware station
    3. Register Host name, Thumbprint in D365
