How to Import MBOX to Microsoft Office 365 Account?

This has been a problem for me for a long time. I exported a sizable collection of old emails from my old email client and saved them in MBOX format. The issue is that I recently switched to Microsoft Office 365, and I would prefer to have all of my previous messages accessible in my new mailbox for convenience.

I've tried a few things on my own so far. I tried uploading the MBOX file directly at first, but Office 365 doesn't seem to understand the format. I then searched Outlook for a manual way to import the file and sync it with Office 365, but Outlook only supports PST files—not MBOX. I even looked through Office 365 for settings that might let me import MBOX files, but I couldn't find anything. Right now, I'm not sure if I'm missing something easy or if I'll have to use another tool. Has anyone managed to import MBOX files into Office 365 successfully? If so, what steps or techniques did you find effective? I don't want to lose access to these emails, so any advice would be very helpful.
