Hi everyone,
quick question regarding the filter pane in Business Central:
Is it possible to edit or customize the default filter pane options? Specifically, I’d like to hide the "All" view everywhere.
Has anyone managed to do this or found a workaround?

Hey ,

No, you can't fully hide or remove the default "All" view in the filter pane it's baked in by Microsoft and there's no setting, property, or clean workaround to kill it completely.

Best you can do is:

Set a default filter in OnOpenPage (e.g. Rec.SetFilter(Status, '<>0')) so "All" isn't the starting point.

Save that filtered state as a named view and nudge users toward it.

"All" will still sit there clickable, but most people won't bother switching back if the default makes sense for their flow.

That's pretty much the practical limit right now. If someone’s found a sneaky way around it lately, please share! 😄
