GS1 Barcode setup

Hi All , my client is using GS1 barcode setup.  As per setup Application  identifier (01) is the item number. But for this work, we are setting up the barcode 12345678901234 on Released product > Manage inventory> Barcode
 
Eg: ]C1(01)12345678901234~(17)260629~(10)B30~(30)30
 
 
 
 
Can we avoid barcodes under Released product? Can the system scan the barcode and create the Barcode by scanning?
