I am wondering if anyone uses Chances of Success in Opportunity Management and if it is working correctly. You can reproduce the issue as follows:
Create a new Opportunity and ensure the Sales Cycle Code is one where the Probability Calculation is set as "Chances of Success %"
Activate First Stage
Click on Update to enter an amount
You will notice that the Update Opportunity Card Defaults to the Next Stage and is also Updating the "Chances of Success (%)" to the next stage
However, user want to simply add an amount so changes the Action Type to "Update", but it does not recalculate the "Chances of Success (%)" again
The problem:
Since Update does not recalculate the "Chances of Success (%)", users are making mistakes with the initial Chances of Success.
Question:
How do we avoid users entering incorrect Chances of Success when all they want to do is enter an amount correctly and in-case they make a mistake, chose the correct stage and its respective Chances of Success?
