We are working with Dynamics 365 Field Service integrated with Dynamics 365 Business Central, using the standard FS–BC integration for Work Orders and Service Orders.
Requirement When a Work Order is completed in Field Service, it should get synced to Business central as a Service Order in real time and should be automatically posted (i.e., service shipment + service invoice posting), without requiring any manual steps in BC.
Current Behaviour
Work Order status change to Completed in Field Service syncs the data to Business Central using Job Queue not real time.
However, in BC the Service Order remains in Open status.
The posting (ship/consume, ship/invoice) must be done manually.
Expected Behaviour
On Work Order completion → Real time sync to BC and should automatically:
Validate the Service Order
Post Service
