PayPal Payment Services - Should Link Work On PDF or Only In Emails?

I've reviewed everything and the standard PayPal extension is install and setup within Business Central. When I create a sales invoice or posted sales invoice PDF it shows the PayPal link and icon, but there the link doesn't work. If I just send it via email, the link in the email works. Shouldn't the link in the PDF work as well?

Hi,

You need to make changes to report layout format using RDLC and reload the report.

Can you clarify what you mean by "the link doesn't work"? Is it not a clickable hyperlink, or is the URL incorrect?

@Valentin Castravet the link is not clickable at all. However, in the report layout it looks correct.

from what i’ve seen, most PDFs just embed the link as plain text or an image, and depending on the PDF viewer, clickable functionality can get blocked. emails are a different story because the link is live in HTML, so it works instantly. probably nothing wrong with your setup it’s just how PDFs handle links sometimes. i’d personally just make a note for clients that the clickable link is best used in the email itself.
