I’d like to ask about the role of the "connection" feature and how it can help us.

I did some research and found that it allows us to create relationships more easily without needing a lookup field. However, I still don’t fully understand how it works.

For testing, I created two entities: Table A (with the connection feature enabled) and Table B (with the connection feature disabled). When I tried to create a one-to-many relationship, it worked for both tables. So, what is the actual difference between enabling or disabling the connection feature?

Connection property

Hello,

There is a table called connection, when this option is enabled, you can use it in the connection table.

This table works like this:

1 - it is which register will be connected.

2 - it is the register that was connected

Then you can select a function, for example:
You can create a connection between two contacts and call the function Parent/Child.
Or connect a contact to an account and call the function Former company/former employee.
