Hi everyone.
I have the next customer who is using landed cost and minor load & shipment for inbound and we do have WHS and quality inspections for the inbound receiving.
Again I do have the problem that microsoft released this super functionalty for finally get quality work orders BUT that is not supported for goods-in-transit receiving.
So again I can not use the quality work and need to leave the license plates in the In-Dock to pick out manually the quality samples, leave the license plates there and wenn quality inspection is finished, i need to bring them manually back as again I am not getting a work order.
All of that means for 90% of the inbound operations a handling, that is not system supported and really not effective. I contacted Microsoft but didn't really got any help with how to do this if they are not supporting goods-in-transit-receiving beside of generating quality orders.
I tried a lot of with work order template queries and location directives but it is not possible to get a routing. same for taking the samples back to the stock or maybe a special location for supplier return or fixing.
I checked again the release plan and there is nothing for quality work reference type goods-in-transit.
So maybe there is anyone out there who might now a solution or at least if this might will be fixed in 2027? We already checked the code and to make this work with a customer back development will be a huge gap.
