Business Central 28 Deployment Error – AL1043 Runtime Version '17.0' is Not Supported

Hi Team,

I upgraded my Business Central environment (IN Localization) to Version 28 and updated all dependencies in VS Code successfully. I am also able to download symbols without any issue.

However, during deployment I am getting the following error:

error AL1043: The runtime version '17.0' is not supported by the AL compiler.

Current setup:

  • Runtime = 17.0

  • Platform = 28.0.0.0

  • Application = 28.0.0.0

I have also reinstalled all AL-related extensions in VS Code, but the issue still persists.

Could anyone please help me understand which runtime version should be used for Business Central 28 and how to resolve this issue?
