ReportReport

Hi All,

We used to run our financial reports using Management Reporter using Dynamics GP.  After migrating business central we have developed similar report using accounting sub-category and the reports works fine.  In MR there is option to export to excel along with accounts which made up of each line but in BC we dont have that option.  So in order to see break up of each row user need to click the amount of each column and see the details behind it.  Is there any easy way to handle this so that we can get account details of each row.  Also our accounting period is not calendar year but start at middle of the year to next year mid and starting date of each month from 2nd month is the last Saturday of previous month.  Due to this each time when we run financial report the user need to type date filter manually.  Is there any setup needs to be done in order date to populate automatically using the accounting period starting dates.  The only place I can see the dates coming automatically in report is Trial Balance by Period.
I have the same question (0)

Regarding your first question, I think the easiest method would be to change the row definition so the name of each row incorporates the actual G/L accounts used. Or add a blank row under each actual row that displays the G/L accounts used.

Make sure your accounting periods are defined in "Accounting Periods" before running any financial reports.

    Kind Regards
