I tried to get into BC but only get spinning disc and "Getting Ready"

    Hello,
    If Business Central shows “Getting Ready” with a spinning circle and never loads, it’s usually a browser/session issue rather than a BC error. The quickest checks are: refresh the page (Ctrl+F5), clear browser cache/cookies, try an Incognito/Private window, or open BC in another browser. If the problem continues, it can also happen when the environment is restarting/updating or temporarily unavailable, so checking the Admin Center environment status or asking the admin to verify the service is running is recommended.

    This usually happens when the environment creation process gets stuck. You can go to the Admin Center, delete the environment, and create a new one.

    I have users experiencing the same “Getting Ready” with a spinning circle and never loads screen.
    My understanding is v27.5 resolves this.

    Hey, that's a common issue with Dynamics 365 Business Central the "Getting Ready" screen with the spinning circle usually means a browser/session glitch rather than a problem with BC itself.

    Quick fixes that work for most people:


    • Try Incognito/Private mode (Ctrl+Shift+N in Chrome/Edge)  this bypasses extensions and cached data.

    • Clear your browser cache and cookies specifically for businesscentral.dynamics.com (or the full Microsoft domain).

    • Force-refresh the page: Ctrl + F5 (or Ctrl + Shift + R).

    • Switch to a different browser (Chrome or Edge usually work best; avoid older ones).

    • If you're on a company network/VPN, try without it or from another connection.                                                                                             
    • If it still hangs after that, check the Admin Center (admin.microsoft.com > Dynamics 365 > Environments) to see if your BC environment is "Active" or maybe restarting/updating.
