Environment Used Space (Admin panel) vs Data Administration

Hi,

We're migrating to Business Central and would like to know how can I monitor the database used space properly (accepting tips). I've created a telegraf script to retrieve usage from admin api but it shows space provisioned, not used really. Is there any way to get used space as shown in table 8700 Information Data?

Hello,

Business Central does not expose real “used database space” via Admin Center or Admin API—those show provisioned capacity only. The only accurate usage is inside BC under Data Administration → Table Information (table 8700), and there’s no supported API to read it externally. Monitoring must be done in-app or via manual exports.

Hii There as per requirement for Business central you can check from Capacity TAB from there you can check the current used space and left space.
