Hi Ranjith,

You didn't provide much information in your question, so we don't know what exactly you need to do with an EAN number. In case your question is related to products, it can be a barcode or used as eternal item number. For what process you need the EAN, that also determines if you need to set up barcodes, supported with a check digit for valid numbers or that you can go to the external item descriptions form.

In case "material" is something else than a product, please clarify.

EAN would be the barcode type per Andre's comments, so if you have the system configured for this, you would find it on your released product's barcode setup:
