Hi All, I am using ECM module to create items. We create items in DEMF (Engineering company) and then we want to release it to USMF legal entity. I understand I need to setup Product release policy and engineering product category to release items to OC but how do I create my TEMPLATE (First item) item in DEMF and release it to USMF? since it will be the first one I cannot used Release product structure.

Good day,

My recommendation is to create and release a new product (template) via a an engineering change order

After the creation and release you can mark the new created product as template in the "Product release policy"

The template item is not mandatory for the creation and release
