Automatic recalculation of charges on sales order/purchase order lines

In D365 SO, I added a charge code with amount as 3000 Rs.
I allcoated it based on per line on all the lines (3 lines total - 1000 each).
Now, I removed one line but now the charges per line still shows 1000 Rs each. How to reallocate them automatically so that it becomes 1500 Rs per line for remaining two lines.
How to achieve recalculation/reallocation automatically? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

    Good day,

I doubt whether automatic recalculation is possible. Can you click again on "Allocate charges"?

    Best regards,

@Laurens vd Tang - Since I have already allocated the charges, there is nothing else that is available to be allocated.

    Hi,

In case you allocated the charges, it moved the charges from the header to the lines. In case you delete a line, there is no history available that knows the original charge on the header to reallocate the amount over the two lines. You will need to manually update the charges; either start on the header and allocate again or update the charges per line.

@André Arnaud de Calavon Thanks for clarifying this. Just out of curiosity- Did you come across any of such requirement and any solution/workaround that was implemented? :)

    Hi,

Thanks for your feedback and follow up question. I have seen your requirement only once. That was related to transportation costs which they would like to divide over the lines. At that time, we created a customization as it was an amount per delivery as well. Note that this was on an AX 2012 implementation about 13 years ago.
