Which Permission Required to Display “Qty. on Purchase Order” on Item Card?

Hello Team,

Which permissions need to be configured in the permission set to display “Qty. on Purchase Order” on the Item Card?

We have observed that when the SUPER permission set is assigned, the field value is visible on the Item Card. However, when we assign the Purchase Department permission set, this field is not displayed.

Please advise which specific table/page permissions are required to make this field visible for Purchase users.

Thank you.

Please check if purchase department permission set has access to Purchase Line table.

There are specific ways to do this, like read access to the Purchase Line Table Data. However, the general method will lead you to what makes this possible. First you need one of these base permission sets (depending on your version of BC/NAV):

    BASIC
    D365 BASIC

Then you need the specific role permission, which will be one of these:.

    D365 ITEM, VIEW
    INVT-ITEM/BOM

    Hello ,

Qty. on Purch. Order is a FlowField coming from Purchase Line (Table 39).

    Fix:
Give users Read permission to TableData Purchase Line.
Without it, BC can’t calculate/show the field (SUPER works because it has it).

    Hi, hope the following helps.
Dynamics 365 Business Central: What happens if users don’t have permission to read the table set in a FlowField?

    Thanks.
