How to link incoming documents with posted documents possessing existing incoming documents?

Initially, I can link incoming documents with posted documents without incoming documents.

This time, I have already linked 17 incoming documents to the posted entries, yet one incoming document is missing. I would like to continue link the remaining incoming document with the same posted entries, yet the "select incoming documents" action are not enable.

May I know what should I do?

If this line is already associated with an Incoming Document, only the View Incoming Document will be displayed.

For example,

You can open it and add sub-files.

Hello ,

Standard BC only allows one active Incoming Document reference per posted entry, so once that entry is already linked, Select Incoming Document becomes disabled; if the missing file should replace the current one, remove the existing link first from Incoming Documents using Remove Reference to Record, then connect the correct document, and if you actually need multiple files on the same posted entry, that is not supported through multiple separate incoming-document links in standard behavior, so the practical option is to keep the extra file inside the existing incoming document record or use customization.
