Lost Access to dynamicsnavdev Yammer Group

Dear Microsoft Community,

We’ve recently lost access to the dynamicsnavdev Yammer group, and we keep receiving an error message when trying to access it. I’ve reached out a couple of times to the usual contact address (dyn365bep@microsoft.com), but haven’t received any response so far.

Do you happen to have any information about changes on Microsoft’s end that might be causing this? The Business Central Yammer forum has been a valuable resource for our product and development teams, and we’re hoping to continue using it.

Any updates or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,

The dynamicsnavdev Yammer group was retired by Microsoft, along with the rest of the Yammer-based community spaces. That’s why you can no longer access it, and why the contact email isn’t responding anymore.

The Yammer group is gone — it’s not an outage.

Microsoft moved all Business Central discussion to newer platforms.

Use the official replacement communities:

https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/dynamics-365-business-central/bg-p/Dynamics365BusinessCentral

Yammer access cannot be restored.

Microsoft previously announced that the migration would be completed by the end of November, so we need to wait patiently.

Hi,

Microsoft has retired Yammer and fully transitioned to Viva Engage as part of the Microsoft Viva suite. Business Central yammer community too have been in process of migration to Viva Engage, hopefully will be available by the end of current month.

Hello,

Microsoft has retired Yammer and migrated all communities, including the dynamicsnavdev group, to Microsoft Viva Engage as part of its employee experience platform rollout. The old Yammer groups were closed in late 2025, so access errors occur because the legacy tenant no longer exists.

To regain access, you need to join the new Viva Engage Business Central community via aka.ms/BCVivaEngage and email dyn365bep@microsoft.com with your MPN ID and partner account details.

Viva Engage offers integrated features with Teams and SharePoint for improved collaboration.
