Please give us more information. For example, does it happen with all item requirements of just some of them? What about other users with the same security role? Do they experience the same?

    Hi,

Click on Security diagnostics (Options tab) to view the related security objects for that form. That should help you.

The order in question already has a packing slip posted.
You can tell because there is a packing slip journal.

Without being able to see the status of the sales order in question, I am quite certain that all lines on the order have been packed, which means that there are no more lines to pick. The business logic of D365 then determines that you cannot generate a picking list.
The fact the the option is greyed out, indicates that the user would have access to generate a picking list, but as there is no open lines on the specific order, you cannot generate a picking list.
If the user checks another order with open lines, then the option of generating a picking list should be available.

In short, the user seems to have the right access to generate picking lists, but the specific order does not have any open lines and the option is thus not available because of the business logic of D365.

    Hi Nikolaj, Anton and Martin,

Thanks for all of your feedback.

I tried again with following steps:
      1) create a new project under Project Management and Accounting module
    2) Enter the project just created
       3) adding item requirement under this path,  line status of the item requirement is open order
    or
    3) Then go to sales order related with path Manage->Inquires->Sales order
    The options are grey

With the options being greyed out, this is still determined by the business logic of D365.
As this is a sales order created from an item requirement, it behaves differently from a regular sales order.
You can check this blog which also describes some of the differences between a regular sales order and one based on item requirements.

You should be able to update picking lists/packing slips on the item requirements form under the "posting" option.
