I would like to edit the Chart of account sheet by Excel

Hi all

I would like to directly edit or upload lists such as the Chart of Accounts in Excel. However, when I select “Open in Excel” or “Edit in Excel,” the Excel file is always downloaded instead. I believe this might be an issue with my Edge settings. What should I change in order to enable direct editing or Excel upload?

    Hi Nobuhara,
     
    You are in the right spot. Edit in Excel downloads a file and when you open it, it should load the Excel BC Connector on the right of the sheet. You login there and it will let you link in with the data, make changes, and publish the data back into Business Central.
