Construction - New homes solution for BC

Hi I am looking for a solution that can give quotes in a construction enviornment where you the quote can be by room and a list of materials by room that customer will purchase.  Each quote can be up to 300 lines.

Is there a good construction/projects types solution that is embedded in BC?  The quote should include images of the products by room as well, would be ideal.

Thanks!

There isn't specific software i'm aware of that accomplishes that task. What I would do for next steps if I were you.

    1. Take a look at the BC AppSource. See if anything stands out. You can browse for different apps here: Browse Apps | Microsoft Marketplace

    2. You could reach out to a partner that specializes in construction or really BC and get an idea of what a customization would look like. This would ideally be specific to you and your company.

    3. My recommended approach and what i've done with clients before in similar settings is to keep quoting outside of BC. Instead, use sales software or a CRM to manage these steps. Sales staff can work outside of BC and they can build quotes and disucss with potential customers. Once the quote is approved the order can be created in BC either as a sales order or a project. As long as the CRM has pre-built integrations with BC or API access this is usually a good option. Operations and accounting functions can remain in BC. Another benefit is you avoid costly customizations and you avoid becoming reliant on a specific ISV from the appsource. You can always shop around sales/crm software and as long as it integrates with BC you have more flexibility.

Hopefully that gives you a starting point!
