Hello everyone,

I’m a Functional Consultant working with Dynamics 365 Business Central, and I’d like to confirm whether BC supports (PDC) and (CUC) functionalities out of the box.

Specifically, I want to know if there are any standard features to:

Record and track issued/received post-dated cheques

Hold cheques until their due date before posting

Manage cheque clearing

Thanks in advance,

I have the same question (0)

Dynamics 365 Business Central does not support Post-Dated Cheques (PDC) and Cheque Under Collection (CUC) functionalities out of the box. These features require third-party extensions or customizations.

    Hi,

    Out-of-the-box capabilities

    • BC standard functionality supports issuing and printing cheques (manual or computer cheques) via Payment Journals, and you can void or cancel them. However, this is for current-dated cheques only— as far as I know there is no native feature for post-dated cheque management or holding cheques until maturity.
    • Also, as far as I know, there is no built-in workflow for cheque clearing based on due dates; clearing is handled through normal bank reconciliation processes.
You can check below add-on for your requirement (while selecting ISV, you should check availability for your country):-

    Hello,

Dynamics 365 Business Central does not support Post-Dated Cheques (PDC) or Cheque Under Collection (CUC) functionalities out of the box.

However, several third-party extensions are available—such as those from Tech Ventures, CETAS, and d365.Global—that enable tracking of issued/received PDCs, holding cheques until maturity, and managing cheque clearing workflows with alerts and ledger integration.

These add-ons provide comprehensive cheque management features tailored to regional and business-specific needs.

Business Central has standard functionality to create and print cheques for vendor payments, but it doesn’t support post-dated cheque or cheque under collection processes out of the box. There are no built-in features to hold cheques until their due date or manage cheque clearing, those require an add-on or customization.
