I am running into a date calculation issue in Business Central when generating Purchase Orders via the Requisition Worksheet, and I am hoping someone here can point me in the right direction.
The Scenario:

I create a Sales Order today. The Order Date correctly defaults to today’s date (the current Work Date).

The customer wants the goods in the future, so I set the Requested Delivery Date to a future date (e.g., 2 months from now).

Next, I open the Requisition Worksheet and use the function to retrieve the sales order (Special Order).
The Issue:
When the worksheet calculates and creates the Purchase Order, the resulting Purchase Header gets assigned an Order Date that is equal to the Requested Delivery Date (the future date), instead of today’s actual creation date. Because of this, our Purchase Orders are being created with Order Dates far in the future, which is administratively incorrect since we are placing the order with our vendor today.
