Asset management- Tools functionality

I have a requirement to track resources/tools that users borrow to do repairs in asset management through work order. I see we can add tools under Maintenance job types or work order line.  I am unable to find any documentation on how to use this functionality/configuration. Can someone share the steps?

tools can be tracked by linking them to Maintenance job types or directly to work order lines. The setup involves defining tools as resources, assigning them to job types, and then consuming them through work orders. Microsoft’s documentation covers assets and work orders but doesn’t provide detailed tool-tracking steps, so here’s a structured guide you can follow
