"Remove line" vs "delete" on shipment

Hello Microsoft Community,

I have a question regarding the two buttons on the Load Lines tab of a shipment: "Remove line" and "Reduce picked quantity."

What is the functional difference between these two buttons? When I use "Remove line," it seems to remove the item from the shipment but keeps it on the load. What can a user do with an item that remains on a load but is no longer part of a shipment?
Vs
If I use the "delete" button, the item appears to be removed from the shipment AND the load.

Are there any other functional differences between these two options?

Thank you in advance!
