I’m running into an issue with an SSRS report and could use some guidance.
I’m generating a master data metrics report that contains about 100 columns. The data execution time isn’t a problem, and the report runs in batch without any noticeable delays. The issue happens during report rendering:
- If rendering completes in under 10 minutes, everything works fine.
- If rendering takes more than 10 minutes, SSRS starts retrying automatically.
- After 5 retries, the process fails with a “report rendering timeout” error.
Has anyone encountered this before?
Is there a configuration setting that allows increasing the report rendering timeout? I’d like to prevent SSRS from retrying and failing when the rendering takes longer due to the size of the report.
Any suggestions or recommended settings would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
