I am trying to keep basic production order process for our client so that they wont click much clicks. I am trying to schedule production order once created directly to started stage in d365fo in below navigation.

production control > periodic tasks > production order status update > Start .

Enabled late selection n gave criteria for which pool n which status of production order to be picked such as created, estimated, scheduled n released.

When i set to recurrence to execute for every 5 mins so that order which is in create stage will be in started stage automatically but it is not performing in this way. Only selected production orders are being executed and when a new production order is created it remains the same it is not moving to started stage.

Few times batch jobs are ended with no errors. Am i missing anything ?

    Hi,

When you created this batch job can you make sure you don't have extra filters applied in query ?

Also make sure to check Production control parameters >  Status flag enabled.
